This is actually my first real website , so plese bare with me! :-)
I first became a hardcore Matchbox Twenty fan in '99'. My ex-bf won tickets to their concert off the radio, and my cousin Alex is a huge MB20 fan so he let me take him. It was awesome. I was supposed to be on like the second level balcony, but I did what I always do and slid my way towards the front row. Pisses off a few people, but hey, it's worth the rush. I was sooo star-struck when I seen Rob up close. He is damn beautiful, and also has a voice to die for. Well, I threw my hat that I was wearing up there, then turned around and ran up to my cousin to tell him it landed on Rob's foot. LoL. Well, my cousin said "Hey, that was YOUR hat? He picked it up and put it on his head for a second." I thought he was lying at first but he swore that he wasn't. Anyways, after the wonderful concert, we snuck backstage to try to meet them, we even spotted the dressing room that said 'Matchbox Twenty' on it. But even with a few drinks in me I was too chicken shit to barge in there. Really I was afraid that they would get pissed off for us invading their privacy. But over all it was a really cool concert, and I'm definately looking forward to them coming back around.
